    1.4 Subscriber:

    Individuals who subscribe to newsletters and updates from Freeflow but have not paid a membership fee to become a Member.

    1.5 Member:

    Individuals or entities that pay a one-time membership fee or are invited onboard as a complimentary member, becoming part of Freeflow's venture-building ecosystem.

    1.6 Service(s):

    Refers to the tools, content, and services provided by Freeflow through its website, portal, and mobile applications. This includes, but is not limited to, venture-building support, data sharing, dashboards like Upflow (for startups) and My Startup (for investors).

2. DATA COLLECTION

    2.1 Direct Collection

    We collect Personal Data directly from you when you:

    • Register as a Member: When you become a Member, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, startup details, investment asks, and other business-related data.
    • Use the Dashboard or Submit Information: Startups and investors may upload documents, submit financial data, upload pitch decks, or interact with dashboards (e.g., revenue vs. burn analytics) that contain Personal Data.
    • Request a Service or Transaction: If you request a service (e.g., financial modeling, documentation), we may collect necessary payment and transaction data to process your request.
    • Virtual Meetings and Communications: When you interact with other users (e.g., investors, venture-building teams), we collect information such as meeting requests, communication records, and other related data.

    2.2 Indirect Collection

    We may also collect Personal Data from third-party sources where:

    • You have authorized us to connect with third-party services, such as social media platforms.
    • Publicly available information about startups, investors, or other stakeholders may be collected from publicly accessible sources.

    To process any payments, service fees, or transactions related to membership fees, the purchase of Flowcoins, or other venture-building services.

    3.3 Personalization of Service(s)

    We use your Personal Data to customize your experience on the platform. This includes personalized recommendations, AI-suggested investment deals for investors, and relevant features for startups.

    3.4 Compliance with Legal Obligations

    To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal requests, including the prevention of fraudulent activity and the protection of intellectual property.

    3.5 Analytics and Platform Improvement

    To analyze and improve our platform's functionality, user experience, and performance. This includes using aggregated and anonymized data for research and development.

    3.6 Marketing and Communication

    To send marketing materials, updates, and announcements to Subscribers and Members. You can opt-out of marketing communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided.

4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

    4.1 Internal Sharing within Freeflow

    We may share your Personal Data with our employees, consultants, or affiliates who need access to the data for internal purposes, such as managing the platform and providing you with the requested services.
